Technology in the Classroom

       Professional Learning Network, social media has both advantages and disadvantages. The positives for social media are sharing ideas, inspiration, classroom ideas, classwork ideas, and many more. When having a professional social media platform it's important to keep it appropriate and professional. As well as following the Teacher Quality Standard to make sure you keep your platform appropriate. 

    

    I had the chance to listen to Laurie McIntosh and how she has used technology to grow her teaching career. I learned a lot about how technology can be a big positive in the classroom. Having a social media platform can be great in many different types. The first example is keeping parents updated on what events are happening in the classroom, such as what activities the students are doing, and events that are happening in the school for the month or following weeks. You can also use social media to follow other teachers from around the world, this can benefit friendships, collaborations, and sharing work to help spark ideas. After meeting with Laurie McIntosh technology in the classroom is something that can benefit students, parents, yourself and other teachers. Having technology in your classroom can make things easier for you. Technology is ever-growing and is something that can benefit you when used
